Yeah i've seen him maybe 4-5 times last season. He got pretty slick hands and a great finisher. Obviously small as rabbit sh&t - but great gamble at 181. I totally forgot about him to be honest. I suppose he could be a decent 3rd liner if he has a Gadjovich or McEwen to guard him.

I think it should be an A because he took my first three picks then got a great goalie. That's a win for a draft in any teams books. His late round picks are real huge question marks but if you can get 2 solid NHLer's from each draft you did awesome.

Yeah, I don't blame people for giving him an A. My feelings are still hurt from Glass and also while I didn't mind his picks in rounds 2/3/4, I had other guys ranked ahead of Lind/Gadj so I can't give him an "A"

Can't believe I'm saying this... Totally unexpected A+ for Benning & whichever scouts he didn't tell to GTFO. Only pick I didn't like was Gunnarsson. A Kristoffer I could absolutely refuse. But otherwise, I love this draft.

.... Gunny (like army sergeant) new nickname, is a mystery cause there is little to nothing known about him. At that pick its fine maybe an Edler type steal. That's if they have some inside knowledge from the Swdish network. We shall know later so having faith in that for now.

Sadly I didn't do any better then last season. Only got 3 right. Baby steps is right. I saw someone mentioned that the CHL scouting staff needs to be overhauled and I whole heartedly agree. Seems as if JB doesn't have a lot of personnel he trusts. Good sign is that he can get a few more guys he trusts in there and our drafts should continue to get better.

Every draft eventually comes down to a roll of the dice. Not every pick will pan out, and you won't know what you ultimately have for a few years. I may not agree with every pick this year, but I see the logic in all of them. All we can do now is wait and hope for the best.
