Thats a horrible comparison. First of all, I wanted Glass, like any sane human. BUT Petterson at 165lb is not a stretch to put on 15-20 lbs over the next 2 years and be a normal size C. Having a 140lb frame as an 18 yr old is nuts. You can't honestly expect that kid to put on 30-40lbs and be the same player. Its realistic to put on 20-25 but even that still puts him extremely underweight. Imagine him lining up against Getzclaf as a 150-160lb center!!! Its a joke. I have no idea if you've ever played hockey before, but fluctuating that much weight is severely gonna change you game. I've gone up and down between 180-200lbs since i was 16 and its doable without jeopardizing your play on the ice. All I'm saying is there are better size options out there, let him be some other teams "project" - we got enough

and btw http://www.hockeydb.com/i...s/pdisplay.php?pid=196060

hes a 140lbs

Solid pick at 17. Mono hurt his chances of being a top 5 pick. Teams will regret not taking him.
- Eldebrink

Lias Andersson was a bit of a surprise at 7. Good player but limited offensive upside was the scouting report. Sounded like a mid round pick usually.

Ratcliff would be a nice pick at 33. 6'6 left winger. Exactly what we need.

SEAL scoring adjusted amongst active prospects. Canucks own 2 of the top 4

But lets complain without proper knowledge about not drafting vilardi and his cement feet

Lind

Sleeper pick in the first. He is one of the best goal scorers in the class, but at this juncture is a lightweight who is tall but thin. Has the frame to carry more girth and may grow an inch or two. Has an excellent wrist snapper he gets off quickly and a booming slapper. He is a really strong skater with good balance and displays good edging that helps him turn abruptly to elude defenders. He isn't afraid to protect himself when he plants himself near the blue paint. A strong skater and very good with his zone entries on the carry in. Really has a good hockey sense and quickly advances the biscuit to create good looks. Seems to capitalize whenever he is able to get loose and get open. He is also a good playmaker and stays involved on the attack. He is at his best when he plays with grit and edge, and his play is trending that way. Has really progressed in his WHL career, but still hasn't reached the 45 goals/79 points in 44 games totals he had in Saskatoon midget, but as he gets bigger and stronger, he may just develop into an NHL power scorer.

1. The pooptier version of our first round pick.
2. He really sucks at playing defence.
3. Another version of Van's first round pick
4. Van won't pick a player that plays with grit.
5. Another play who has no idea what to do in the defensive zone.

I like Mismash.

Kole Lind or Nic Hague. I'm actually really hoping for Nic Hague because I didn't think he would make it out of the first.

There you go Lind it is and had him rated higher
Hague with next pick

Why can't bennning not (frank) up. ALways takes wrong guy. Right handed right winger. Just what we needed.

I'd be betting this makes Jake's chances of being a top 6 player a lot harder. Lind supposedly has good hockey sense?

I wouldn't be surprised if Virtanen is traded today.

Wow really, on day 2 for more picks? That would suck as a degraded asset. I'd rather see him put in a package if that's the case.

Have a cluster/tier of guys who I rank about even:

1) Aleksi Heponiemi - Pure playmaker, nice hands and speed. Won't score a lot of goals but man can he set people up and create some magic. One of those guys that can create something out of nothing at times, play him with a good finisher and you're Gucci. Went through a growth spurt is ridiculously skinny right now, 5'10.5" and 150 pounds. High ceiling boom or bust pick. Guessing his playing weight will be around 170-175 when he's NHL ready.

2) David Farrance - best dman left, perfect for the way the league is going. Can skate really well. Likes to carry the puck out of the zone and is comfortable rushing the puck up ice. Can create offense at 5v5 and be a playmaker on the PP. Has a decent shot as well. Smart player too, not bad defensively. Not a physical player though.

3) Joni Ikonen - Great skater and likes to have the puck on his stick. Has a really nice shot. Good playmaker too. Plays hard in all 3 zones, not afraid to battle for the puck even though he's not a big guy at 5'11" and 175. Love his skating, has a good poop, decent playmaker and not soft at all, pretty decent package. Knock on him is that he tries to do too much himself at times and tries to make some low percentage passes.

4) Grant Mismash - Not as much of a boom or bust pick as Ikonen and Heponiemi but this guy is hard not to like. Fast, gritty, works his ass off, and has some decent skill and hockey sense. Great on the forecheck, along the boards, loves to be in front of the net and can finish off plays there. Won't back down from anyone. Feel like he has a really good chance at being a solid NHL player. Obviously more of a complementary guy if he's on a scoring line or a guy you play on the 3rd line for energy and some depth scoring. He'd be my pick if the teams wants more of a gritty player at 33.

5) Jason Robertson - Stats are great for a guy his age on a meh CHL team. Probably the obvious moneyball/analytical pick if he's there at 33. He basically drives the offense for Kingston. He can flat out score, is great at finishing in front of the net or in the slot area, and is a decent playmaker too. Only issue is that he's not a great skater and at 6'2", he's not physical either. Also tends to float around on defense at times.

- Nucker101

Know you have been high on all these guys but hard pass on all of them. Maybe Hepo for 55 because of his talent but rather Ratcliffe if he's there but of course Flyers trade up to get him

I wanted Ratcliffe but I seen Lind still there and I was really okay taking him.
