I love Nuge and I have always been a fan but I wonder how he fits going into the season...lets say they decide to do a McD and Drai 1-2 punch down the middle...does that leave Nuge as a 3rd line C or perhaps a shift to the wing? Now if they put McD and Drai together then of course he fits as our 2nd line C and we would need him to hit 50+ points

I know poo had an awful year- but he's still a big guy and a wonderful skater that can kinda move up and down

Not sure I feel better with khaira in that spot over him . Probably keep the depth and let him go for nothing at seasons end handing that spot to khaira or benson or whoever .
Sorta hope they can get pitlick to sign short term as well

We get solid seasons outta puju, strome, nuge we'll prob be fine

Strome is a solid two way guy with some skill. And a natural center . Prob not all that much unlike nuge. You get those two guys goin and you can Troy them out as your 3rd line- pretty dangerous

Not ideal to pay 3c 6 mil but after the fact it don't really matter

I honestly do not mind Hendo's writing when he isn't spouting/venting about Russell or Hall. He does the work and puts up blogs often and seems to keep up to date with the regular "goings on" around the Oilers.

The advanced stats stuff is total garbage and 100% doesn't matter. You can play "moneyball" in baseball but not in hockey. We're not trying to get more base hits here (shots)...we're trying to fkn hit home runs (goals). You score goals in this league with skill and heart...not having a higher "batting average".
