Valimaki is the better available Dman
- smellmyfinger

Disagree. Vali lacks that high end flare that you want from an elite offensive driver. Liljegren has more of that in my opinion.

IVe been going sans student loans for the back half of my degree. Super tight for money but I'll be at stoked when I'm done with barely any debt

Kinda worked out a system . Work a ton in the summer - pay tuition In full and a few months of fall rent up front.
THen get my semester grant in November (based on financial need and good grades) and live off that and pt work for awhile.

Then just as I'm tapped in February , get my second semester grant, pay a good chunk of 2nd semes tuition and bills with that. then pay the balance when I'm back working in the summer .
Rinse repeat

- Ihateallofu

I am so awful with my money I couldn't do that. However I will be hitting up the AUPE and Covenant health for any and all tuition grants available going forward. Even the one where I have to write an essay.

Man, Vegas has already gotten two of my top-4 guys. If they pick Liljegren, they'll have three of my top-10. I definitely agree with the direction they're taking so far. C depth in Glass and Suzuki and both are safe bets at top-6 guys.

OMG don't get me started. Ok so the national student loan centre told me in January that if you are at 60% of full time status, loans go into interest free non-repayment status. I was in 6 credits this last semester and 9 credits is full time so they said that qualifies. The college told them I wasn't in enough credits to qualify so they put me in a 6 month grace. The guy at the college gave me an explanation that didn't make any (frank)ing sense.

Anyways, the classes I am taking to complete my Psych degree, I am paying for out of my own pocket. So tuition and books get expensive, and will be worse if that poop isn't straightened out and I am paying 700$ a month to my student loans come August. (frank) some people are retarded. Ok end rant. I feel better after sharing.

Man, there's certainly a lot of (frank)ery involved with it... Better off joining Reveen and I with POS.

FUk yeah bro. Gotta do what u gotta do.

I even wrote a few essays and applied for the multitude of First Nations ones.
Not an ounce of native blood in me but maybe they'll make an error and pad that bank account !!?
No shame here.

It's not the first time the people at the college have (frank)ed me when it comes to their student finance department communicating with the Provincial and Federal people. I need to throw more of a fit next time and ask that "someone who knows what the (frank) they are doing" deal with my file.

However I am done with those (frank)ers, hopefully the University here has better people handling my poop this fall.

Yeah, he's that safe offensive guy. Not the high end game-breaking type of guy. Nothing wrong with that; I just see Liljegren as having more of that elite potential.

Where did you study nursing? College or university? One of my buddies works in Alberta in the camps... Been on EI for like 5 months and was considering going to school for nursing... If it was in a college, he could possibly get sponsored through EI.

I'd prefer not. Robert Thomas is my preference. I'd even reach for Jokiharju or Lind over Yammers.

Yeah at the college here in Lethbridge. Graduated with the LPN diploma and a general studies diploma which has me at about 45% done with my Psych degree.

Depending upon which program he wanted to study, LPN or RN, there are several colleges that have the LPN program in Alberta, the RN program is typically through universities but the RN program here does 2 in the college and 2 at the University, however it is still considered a university degree program, so not sure it applies for your buddies needs.
