No, but my friends hunt them for a living.
I mean, are police officers. |

They've got to pay Miller, Skjei, Vesey, and Hayes next year.
Just an observation. Might lend credence to signing one vet on a one year deal. - WineryDog
Think Thornton now is firmly a major candidate to be in NY |

replace Raanta - jimbo83
Very interesting. I was thinking UFA Condon, but this article sounds like a Rangers grab. |

Seriously, the (frank)ing stories that they have are ridiculous.
Two buddies that are partners are plain-clothes gang unit guys. They got a vague 911 call a month or so ago and found an elderly couple tied up in their living room and 3 guys with loaded guns in the house. |

I Think you have to take all of it into equation, maybe they didn't get the most they could've but they got salary relief from a potential bad contact and declining player. Which is a win in itself. I didn't love Murphy talk so I don't think they could've gotten more then they did. No one other then Jimmy is probably a bigger step fan then me. But we are smart hockey guys and see what's best for them. They do have a gaping hole at center now tho, peeps gotta realize that - Slimtj100
I get it, as said, wanted more. Maybe DeAngelo pans out, early responses I have gotten and seen not positive that will happen. |

Would u trade the 7th overall for guys like Reinhardt or Bennett? |

Got a feeling the Devils want to give Wedgewood a chance to be the back up this year. I'd be real cautious about giving Kinkaid 20+ games though. |

When a player gets suspended twice for what he does, and calls a bunch of women Japanese Whores, yeah, I can't totally be thrilled about that guy coming to the Rangers. Is he young? Sure. But once a jackwagon, always a jackwagon as far as I am concerned. - Pete V
I agree 100% Pete. It's out of the Rangers norm to have this type of personality here. The Sean Avery's and Don Murdoch's (both for different means) come far and in between with this near century old, original six organization.
Just look at trump in comparison for his ways he talked & approves doing so about women (with his buddy, O'Reilly likely hiding in a White House closet, after saying that O'Reilly did nothing wrong). Then add his intimidating bully ways, and his "I care only about myself", in reality attitude, that hasn't changed even decades later at the age of 71. |

I don't crave for kudos. But when u bring something up a few ppl on here think everything is ridiculous until they're the ones to bring it up, then it's ok to talk about. Obviously what I was saying wasn't that ridiculous, up until about 6 months ago trading Stepan was the most ridiculous suggestion anyone has ever come up with. - nyrangers9479
Dude they weren't going to trade Brass & Step in the same summer. There was absolutely no need to trade Stepan last year. How do you not understand this. A team that is competing is not getting rid of their #1 and #2 center in the same summer. Let it go. |

What the kid did was dumb, but let's be honest here, he is in the running for the Rags 6th defenseman, not the nuclear codes.... if he turns out to be a douche you guys flip him for a 2nd round pick. |

#mnwild has something cooking. Sounds like Scandella. Wild has been asking for a first-round deal in any package

#mnwild has a few balls in the air right now, things heating up, I'm told. Any trade consummated could come closer to the draft

Gorton said NYR like Deangelo a lot but D is a work in progress. He did not rule out more trades. He said it's a deep trade market now.

As draft day in Chicago begins to unfold, told that there is no traction at the moment in NYR talks with Coyotes re Stepan. - jimbo83
Brooks is so pissed off still at Torts winning his coaching award the other night, that he may have only written two earlier articles for the NY Post in this past week, with one on a possible Stepan trade. |
