Guessing it's more like AA, Debrincat, 1st for EKane at 50% retained.

That would be an obscene overpayment for a skilled, but very erratic diva making over 5M...

...you do know he only has one year left on his deal?

So, at the end of the day, it ended up being Panarin for Anisimov and a few weeks of Andrew Laad (Marco Dano)

Not exactly good asset management by ol' Stanbo

6'2" 190 lbs. LW Jason Robertson still on the board with Hawks pick 5 away.

Not just because he's French Canadian, but could he be the new Danault?

His profile seems similar.

The sample size was minuscule but from what I could see Dauphin's stride is much much more dynamic than Denault's. The only thing I'm sure of his skating will not be an issue and looks like the kind of bottom 6 size/speed the team has coveted going into next year.

Who was that lurch that made that pick for STL?

Nominee for the freak of the draft

Two years ago $6M for Saad was a killer. Now it just hurts a bit, except....Breadman's deal ends two years sooner. And Saad fits the system well, too.

Dano was a chip for a TDL deal. That time it didn't work. Unlike Zus and Vermette.

Tolvenen is slipping!! He was just informed he didn't have the grades for Boston College yesterday........ Thought of to have the best release in the draft. Kid has a lot of upside and IMO his 2 way game insures a high floor.

It's unfortunate, and he's not the only STL fan that has proven so these last few days. Used to learn a thing or two from a couple of them. Won't waste the read anymore though.

Oh, and remember that time when you threw out your back again patting yourself on the back over some random possible trade that anyone can make? Yeah, those were the days...

But then again, anyone who (can't go) two consecutive sentences (without) over-using parenthesis as (a way) of trying to be (creative) certainly has a lack of (writing skill)... Then again, Knox (college) isn't known for its plethora of English majors writing for elite (publications). Most graduate (accredited?) with minimal journalistic ability and wind up blogging in front of a few dozen (cult) followers.

Now get out your (thesaurus) and try to sound (smart) Johnny Jaeckweed.
