I still can't get over the fact that he fell all the way to 17th and that we were able to draft him. I figured he'd still end up going around 5 or 6. I'm extremely happy we got him and expect he'll be an important part of our defensive core in a few years.

It's kinda shocking they got him.. going into today i wasnt overly optimistic the Leafs would get someone of his calibre but wow... its almost like they were surprised he was still available.. this years world jrs should be fun to watch.
