Been there, done that.

Way worse to lose 4 of them in the cap era though.

I agree. He's a great player, but I wonder if the management sees a real need for a leadership change in this team. Count me in as one of those who doesn't see McD as a leader or captain material.

There has to be more to come. Rangers are in a win now mode and they have 2 centers and half a d corps

D'Angelo is a RHD which is great, their most pressing needs now are a center and backup goalie.

can't discount how he'll react to Stepan being dealt either

Gorts doesn't have the balls to do this.

Hey, it worked before when Vin said this.

Very small sample size, but DeAngelo's stats from World Juniors in -15 is pretty impressive compared with his now famous teammates...

I hate to admit it, but that was a great move on the Rags part. Depending on what they do with that #7, you have to figure it's a trade piece.

What the frank is DeAngelo?
- TPC

Last summer I played in a tournament in the Philly area that DeAngelo, Gaudreau, Trevor Van Riemdsyk, Ghost and some other NHL/College players played in. DeAngelo impressed me the most. He's a phenomenal skater that can move the puck very well and has a pretty good shot. Take that for what it's worth, we'll see how it translates to the NHL, but I think this is a pretty good deal.
