Team already lost Lindberg and now you are advocating dealing Miller? Who replaces their offense? FA Market is weak, so now another forward would be needed. Move makes some sense, though not a big Hutchinson, but with Allaire, maybe he unlocks something.

JAN, Buch can get a regular shift by trading a miller. They need a Dman desperately. The idea that Miller is some sort of untouchable really irks me, his IQ sucks and he has disappeared two playoffs Ina row.

I didn't say untouchable and didn't say I wouldn't do it. Plus, Buch will be a regular regardless with Lindberg gone. I love Trouba always have, but don't discount Miller.

I'm not saying you in particular, but I do get a sense that Miller can't be traded under any circumstances. Especially from the organization. Buch needs top 6 minutes not 4th line minutes which is what hed still be currently

Trouba and backup goalie, Michael Hutchinson for Miller, the first rounder, and...Raanta...is what it would likely take.
The risk is more on the Rangers end in giving up Miller & the 1st Rounder, while Hutchinson and Raanta (at $150K less than Hutchinson), will be UFA's next summer, in addition to Trouba being on the second and last year of his bridge deal he signed to remain in Winnipeg last season, with word there that he may want out for good this time. So Trouba will be due a lot more than $2.8M this time around for him to choose his own option, as Shatty will also be doing very soon somewhere.

That's a pretty good hockey trade in my mind. But I think that it may still not be enough for Winnipeg since it only fills the goaltender need and does not satisfy the left handed defender going back.

Joking aside it seems that Miller needs to go to further Buch's development and land that D-Man they need.
