With all the production from the second unit they don't need Schenn.

I wouldn't, I want him going every other shift on the PK. I'd give Lindblom a long look in that spot. However, the new pp coach may radically change the basic set up so we may see quite a few changes. The only guaranteed locks on the 1st unit are G, Simmons and Ghost.

Giroux's one of the best I've ever seen at running it off the wall -- that's not hyperbole. That dude is an absolute beast on the PP in that role, and with (hopefully) Ghost in a good place for next season and Simmonds showing no signs of decline...yeah, you can overhaul it, but I'm not sure I would

I'm serious, by the way. Giroux is a beast as a PP QB, in the same conversation for as good as I've seen

They can unload Lehtera and Filppula if they need to.

That's very shortsighted. Not only did Schenn score on the PP but he was also paramount to the success of the PP by winning puck battles and puck races for loose pucks. He was very strong in that area.

Mullen was let go and a different coach was brought in to coach the forwards and the PP. I think it's safe bet that something is going to change on the PP.

Frost is a solid prospect with a good floor and great ceiling. Schenn is replaceable. Especially if Lindblom or Patrick step seamlessly into the NHL

With blues fleecing pens they essentially got schenn for Reaves and a late first in 2018 or 2019
