Belief is Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane let it be known to #Hawks how much they missed Saad. They loved him.

I kind of had the same feeling. Just first impressions seem like something is missing from these deals. |

Phillies should offer Odubel for Bryant tomorrow just to see if all of Chicago has lost their minds |

Don't know what they're doing TBH. That Hjammer trade was ass and an ass rebuild move. This Saad trade just seems like a hockey move and not a rebuild move, though Saad is amazing and not some downgrade in his own way. It allseems desperate. Oh well gotta pay the piper when you sign the Seabrook! |

I like the scuttle but, just not going to believe it is going to happen. Unless Shero is enamored with the idea of 3 1st rounders, don't see much traction. - ravishingone
TSN Insiders were saying that Devils were in love w/ Makar, so maybe.
McKenzie said that there was a scout that had Makar ranked 1st-overall. |

I mean, if there's traction to the rumors of the Devils thinking about taking Makar at #1 then it makes sense if he's really their guy.
I just don't think Makar falls to #6 so a third team like Dallas may need to get involved to make it a reality. - JFlyers00
Yes, I've believed since the lottery the Debs were much more likely then the Flyers moving.

I saw somewhere that Makar was compared to Fabbro from last draft. I think he went 17th last year.
If the Devils do this they better be damn sure he is going to be a legit top pairing guy |

I would rather have Panarin. I understand the move because Saad is locked up for 4 years in his prime. Panarin is just a special player though. One of the top forwards in all of hockey. Seems strange to part with him when the window to win is open now. |

I can't even make something up to figure out the Hjamarlsson deal. Don't get that at all. Saad is a very good player but I'd rather have Panarin. |

Sounds like another big Arizona trade is in works. Raanta and Stepan likely to Coyotes. 7th overall could be part of it and DeAngelo. |

Why trade Raanta? Old man Lundqvist is old.
Oh man, maybe they'll sign Mason as a backup. |
