Yes make or break year. It's his third season as a pro. Needs to make progress. It's
not like I'm saying Pasterneck or Ehlers should've been the pick. They were clearly well below in terms of rankings. Draistil was right up there with Reinhart.

In my opinion Reinhart should actually move to center and O'Riely to LW

Would in theory give Reinhart more opportunity to make plays while also playing on a line with O'Reilly to handle some more of the defensive responsibilities a center needs to handle.

Eichel is probably the 2nd or 3rd best skater in the league. Matthews is a very good skater. Not being as good as Eichel is not slight.

If Russell is worth $4.5 million a year Lehner can make a case that he's worth 5 mill, hell Deslauriers is probably worth at least 2 mill

The big question is whether Fletcher, after making sure he got through the weekend with Jonas Brodin, Scandella and Dumba in tow, actually now trades one of them.

Fletcher is “absolutely” considering that possibility.

While there has been strong trade interest in Brodin all month, Scandella also is getting interest, especially from his hometown Montreal Canadiens. However, talks seemed to cool as of late Thursday.

Other teams in need of defense include Buffalo, Tampa Bay, Toronto, Boston, Dallas and Calgary. It’s believed Fletcher has had lots of talks with the Sabres and Lightning.
