Pachla, What do you think about the possibility of Buffalo taking David Farrance with one of their third round picks? He is a NY guy, a good project for Housley's playing style, going to a great college. I think for the relatively low risk/sleeper that could turn out to be a great fit.

Meant an impact/skill level hit in draft like that relative to where he was drafted, not his skill set. Like how kings got their #1 center in the low teens, we need to get lucky and get a top goal scorer or #1 D in the teens. If not I don't see any annual cup contender without tanking and getting another talent like eichel

Kopitar was drafted 11 OA, not in the mid rounds. We also don't have any teens picks. Otherwise, I like the concept that we need to hit on talented players now while Eichel is still younger.

Sure that would be great. Hits like that are rarer now adays. I think the era of getting lucky with a late rd European was in the 90s. Scouting way better. They get drafted where they should. I think if we are banking for a 5th rd pick to change our franchise we are in trouble
