That moment when JB says: Tanev could be a guy around for another 7-8 years
I did like what he had to say on draftpicks though, clearly going center and is high on Vilardi (who he talked about), Glass and Pettersson (who he's interviewed). Talked about trading up into the 20-30 pick zone if the right guy was there, which I also really like if for example we end up with a Brannstrom(whose stock is going up steady) |

I hope he fired that guy.
Tanev is so dumb . How dumb is he? He hired Tiger Wood's caddie to help him improve his shot - VANTEL
I think it was the same guy who coaches Stamkos |

I am for trading Tanev but is has to be for a good return. I don't mind losing 4-2 instead of 3-2 . I don't mind 50 shots a night instead of 45 .
I also don't mind Keeping Tanev to help OJ and no other reason.
I think the most important thing this year is to draft two good quality NHL players and then we finish bottom 3 for another top pick next year. |

C most definately unless Makar slips.
I think JB likes Vilardi Glass in order.
So much for Mittelstadt & Pettersen whom I would also like to add 1 of.

That's like Brock Osweiler hiring Aaron Rodgers QB coach and then being disappointed with the results |

My take as well.
At 33rd is where i am getting excited seeing something good falling.
55 & 64 on down JB will surprise us & pick something very interesting if he is a draftist. |

I am not against trading both second round picks for a first round pick 20-27. Listening to Malloy yesterday even though Nucker calls him a hack , follows prospects all year round . He seems to think that after the 45 th pick it will be quite a challenge for the prospect to be a NHLer . If that is the case I would go after a higher pick and take the BPA |

I don't think 33 is much of a drop & if JB is truly a draftist he will make hay with the later picks. |

I give it the same odds as the jays winning a game where they can reach the .500 mark - Redmile247
So a sub zero chance like -10 chance |

I agree with the sentiment, what . I gathered from him today is he would only consider it if someone he really like dropped into that range unexpectedly. I'd be down if that was the case (Kostin slipping down for example).
Also, according to Nuck5me a draftist and a tanker are very different |

I know he's not rated as high, but I've watched him play and the kid is an absolute battler, not to mention a cannon shot. Love him even at 5'9. Honestly, I love both of these picks at 21.
55 and 64 for 45 th Jokiharju or Salo - VANTEL
I just hear better things when I read scouting reports... not going off much here. |

why would the Rangers want Subban if we don't want him? |

Watched the media availability, Tanev is definitely not going anywhere. Sounds like he would've been significantly more comfortable moving him if Sbisa were still here - NorthNuck
Im also sure he had forewarning that he'd likely be selected too |

So Feb 23rd or March 03rd, think I'll do a little Vegas research, when is the better time. |

Doesn't he play LW too? To me at 22 galchenyuk is a no-brainer talent. Playing center would be gravy. - neem55

I want Makar for his insane value (drafting him, then trading might get us a young 1c?). But I want Glass/Villardi/petterson because I can legitimately see them being key players for this team. - Crazybagoham
makar has the projected potential to be a franchise player.
I dont see the others, although they are great players as being franchise player level. Thats the difference. |
