Not a JB apologist but trying to be objective here. In all seriousness though what's so bad about not advertising you want to trade your top D before high stakes draft? Should he play poker with his cards upturned?

Do you remember him taking flack about not saying he's trading Burr and Hansen? Then he works the market behind the scenes to get two great deals.

Unlike those two must move deals above he can hang on to utilize Tanev to try again later if the right deal doesn't materialize now.

They put a kid with a computer and a bunch of stats in charge of a NHL hockey team. He thinks it's like EA Sports NHL video games where you can drafted an entire young roster and still win hockey games.

1-4 we all have the same. Then variances in top 20. After that it can get all somewhat different. Though more similarities in bottom of 35- 50.

Either way this draft is going to be nuts with the utter lack of consensus.
