You snowflakes are acting like the Dems when H Clinton lost. He is not dead, he has just moved on. That is the way of life in all professional sports. Get over it and move on. Here is a fact.....From 2003 to 2016 MAF on a single Cup on his own In two years Matt Murray has won 2 Cups One all by himself and one aided by MAF. I think his track record is much better. Use your brain not your heart. It is a business. - holeinone

I think most are using their brains here...its just that most have a heart too and he's been part of the organisation for 14 years. Add to this just how nice and likeable he is and some are gonna have a hard time with his departure. |

Hey Feds, what is your take on Tomas Nosek. Will he be a good or great NHLer, or will he not make it. Do you think he gets traded by VGK before the start of the season? |
|
|
|
Damn...thats not a price to pay at all....easily would give a 5th for D depth.... - MattStrat
Apparently Ruth doesn't want him - passed on him twice for a low price. And apparently other GMs don't think much of him, either. A 5th round pick is damn near worthless. |

He would currently be a solid 4C and has a 3rd line ceiling. Doesn't hold enough value to be worth trading imo. |

I was just going to say, no one in here mentioned Fleury, with the exception of one person commenting on people overreacting about it. |

It is like anything else.......results make the decisions easier. Time to move on. One guy is not a team. Guys are traded all the time. Let it go. Do you think wise decisions are made with the heart. I don't. That means emotions are involved and that in business can kill you. |

Not necessarily but he is a top 50 F in the league capable of playing C and you would be bidding against idiots like Snow and Bergevin. Also you have to look at it as trading Maatta, a burnt out prospect, and 2 futures to put together possibly the best cap era team yet. |

Sprong has higher offensive upside. A 1st is still a lottery pick. And maatta is still a young function top 4D. Maatta alone wouldn't be the stupidest d for forward swap in the last year. |

I do agree with you, I just don't agree that it would cost that much to win that trade. Sprong will be an impact forward right off the bat that could easily score 20 goals this year, Maatta could possibly turn it around (not hopeful, but possible with his potential), sheary could yield more attention than not given his past season? Colorado isn't the smartest franchise either |

1. Exactly Sprong has better upside. Have to give to get.
2. How is a PIT 1st a lottery pick?
3. Maatta is a lower end top 4 guy and relatively easy to replace. |
