Cant help but wonder if GMJR's attitude of letting all UFA go to talk to other teams first will end up leaving the Pens hurting and scrambling to fill roster...
- MattStrat

GMJR has earned all of Pens' fans trust that he knows what he's doing. He deserves it. Not worried at all.

They actually have a fairly full roster so I don't think it will. They only really NEED to fill 2 spots, 3C and bottom pair D, and the guys they might sign to come back in those roles, Bonino and Daley, were going to test their market first.

I guess Im kinda in the if they can upgrade the team they should boat. They didnt really do that this year and I know it all ended as well as it could this year ...but man...I havent yet forgotten those first two rounds of the playoffs and all the pucks off the glass and giveaways. Letang is almost impossible to replace but I really think there should be some more mobile good first pass guys signed.

For the love of F please dont re sign Hainsey.

Howd i miss the Ruhdwel signing until a minute ago?

Im actually pleased with that, especially at 650K. He was the only guy looking like he fit in the Pens system at times in these playoffs....then he had his bell rung...

So Elliot Freidman says that the price for Hamonic is 2 1sts, which he doesn't think the Isles would get. Would you give them this year and next year's 1st for Hamonic, who would be that big minute, shut down, physical d-man that the Pens are missing??

At that price I'd probably pass. Not saying he's not good I just think he's in the solid D category but not really special...and im not convinced he's that stellar on the defensive side of things...I dont think he'd make my top 25 D-men list...if I had one that is...

Apparently every team need some a dman or a centre in the draft today. Good thing all we need is a dman or a centre right? I wonder if the Devils need something from us so we could get one of their second rounders? Morgan Frost is going to fall to around the 35-45 mark and he would be a good fit. I wouldn't take him at 31 though unless all the good dmen are gone. On mock draft I read yesterday had Cal Foote falling to 31. I don't see that but it would be incredible if it happened. Perfect fit for this team.

I'd like to have him, but not at that price.

Sounds like Ruth is planning on being active this weekend and on July 1st.

I guess that's not breaking news.

YES. But I doubt their look for 2 1st of the variety that is basically the same as 2 early 2nds. Probably want atleast one mid 1st. Harmonic contract is pretty good so I could pull the trigger, but I really hate giving up our prospect pool

No because I don't think the Pens need that at all. He's not even a shut down defenseman. His shot metrics are bad.

Still rumblings of MAF to Philly... I can't see that since they introduced him live on stage, that would be horrible PR

They must think Murphy will get better. The center is a nice piece. But thought they needed to clear space.

Can't wait to see this Saad/Panarin trade.
