Trouba doesn't come close to Matthews' value. Not within a country mile. He's top 3 in terms of value in the NHL at this point. Crosby (maybe), and McDavid. That's all.

Marner and Nylander, I don't know. I think that's probably in the ballpark? I think they're better at their position, no doubt, but Trouba is a dman, so I'm not sure. Rielly is pretty close.

JVR is a solid piece, scores 30ish goals like clockwork. And he has a great contract. But it comes up after the 2018/19 season (2 more), so that hurts his value. if he still had 4 or 5 years at 4.5, the value wouldn't even be far off.

But as is, no, not a reasonable offer.
