They're going to lose a lot of 2-1 games.

Unless we trade an asset for another draft pick I wouldn't trade another pick. They are already lite with prospects and have traded a 3rd and a 6th already.

That's our top6

If we trade Sam or Kane, Neal replaces them

Then for the bottom 6, we still have...
Ennis, Foligno, Girgensons, Larsson, Bailey, Baptiste, Fasching, Rodrigues, Cj Smith, Pu, Asplund, Cornel, Karabacek, Olofsson, Murray Hagel

So then we need only 3 of those guys to fill the 3rd line
And all of them are fine for the 4th imo

Can always get 3rd line quality guys UFA as well

The Darcy rumors were just that though...rumors. Nothing of any value really ever leaked out too often. Then it was the opposite with Murray.

My guess is that we don't hear many "rumors" because people aren't even really sure what GMJB wants to do. There's not much to go off of. No past history, etc and nothing is being leaked.

Maybe no one wants to betray Botts' trust and potentially lose their jobs. It's been a pretty tight ship so far.

Actually, I'm kind of happy that JB is standing pat today (so far seemingly so) this seems a little crazy. When you have at least one GM that's acting bat poop insane throwing stuff around out of desperation (Snow) that may inflate the market too much. We can't complain about having limited to no assets and the cupboard being bare while simultaneously bemoaning inaction when one person is trading their assets like a drunk 21 year old at a craps table.

I want to see them get a top end D, but I think we need to let the snowspree slow down.

Pretty sure he's searching Long Island for virgin daughters to trade to Denver for Duchene.

I wouldn't hate throwing a pick and a lesser prospect to NYI for Dal Colle. js.
