I would agree with this too. They were the top +/- D at least 1/2 way through season, to lose tanev too would be crippling on the D. UNLESS they have a deal in the works for a D w LV. At this point I have to go D in the draft now.

Tryamkin definitely has implications on our future but I don't think Sbisa gone plays any part in the drafting priorities. He had one season left on his contract... was doubtful as a part of this teams future past his deal all along I believe.

how many worthwhile D will be UFA? Remember there are 31 teams, much more than the good ufa D.
