I'm still surprised on how some teams, like Anaheim and Minnesota, got away from losing one very good young player by giving away 1-2 mediocre one and a pick.

I feel like Vegas would look better today and for the future with Vatanen/Manson and Dumba on that blueline.

Tuch and Theodore are both really good players/prospects who are going to be under control of the team until they are competitive in 5 or 6 years. Vegas also got Haula who will be a fan favorite there. Stoner...meh...but he will be flipped for a pick or just fill a number 5-6 spot.

I'm not as convinced as you about Tuch and Theodore.... I feel like neither are as good as Dumba or Vatanen.

Guess time will tell if McPhee was right.

Vegas needs to unload about 4-5 defensemen before the season starts.... it'd bound to be interesting.

Anaheim was not losing Vatanen for nothing. If they were not working out a trade with Vegas, they would have trade him elsewhere. Same goes for Dumba.
