Can anyone explain why just gave away TVR, doesn't make any sense to me???? - walleyeb1
There is probably a trade still in place but likely they wouldn't announce it if a player is going back the other way. |

Should be more to come I assume, or they know Kempney, Rutta and Forsling are all better than him in the long run. |

Multiple tweets from Chi Tribune's Chris Hind
Reiterating what a source said earlier. ... Kruger could still be traded, just not right now.
Thinking there is more to come. - Marlowe
Can't wait to see Kruger shipped out with Fortin and a pick just to "unload" him. I'm tired of those type of trades. |

Maybe this will be true.
@MarkLazerus
League source says #Blackhawks might still deal Marcus Kruger, possibly even to Vegas for one of the surplus defensemen they've drafted. |

Guess Stan went back on his word and pulled out of the trade, not good IMO. And Blackhawks get boos. - walleyeb1
I believe (at least reported) the deal was if you take Kruger in a trade, we will leave TVR unprotected for you to take. LVK took TVR, and now they can either honor their part and accept Kruger in a trade, or Stan says, not necessary. And LVK still ends up with what they wanted. So not really back on his word as TVR was exposed.
The question is- did we just give TVR away fro nothing? |

Well StanPat Bowman, of course, makes no splash whatsoever. Pens dump Fleury and 6M by giving up a 2nd in 2020. TWENTY FREAKIN' TWENTY! The Pens WON the Cup not the Hawks. The Hossa situation is not a move because the Hawks might be down Cap money but are also down a very key 200ft player. Thankfully I am not a drinker.

Hard to see all of this unfold and not think the NHL has said enough of the Blackhawks.
Enter TOR as the new golden team. |

Well the player I thought the Hawks would look to keep is gone and the guy most everyone thought would go is still here...but more to come.
Vegas took 9 dmen and the next few days should be interesting. |

But we still have to get cap compliant... - FourOrr
I still might trade Anisimov or Panarin before him. The loss of Hossa throws a wrench in the works. This Amateur GM needs to sleep on this some. |

Cheapo's $20,000 seriously, embarrassing. - walleyeb1
Another Bettman production as someone else said. Remove the decimal, that's a start. Cheap finish to a solemn story.
So glad they did the Bickell segment, and let him come up to speak. Glad its out like that. People need to see this sort of thing on a larger scale. Really touches the pure human element. And the rest of the league's fans know the story better.
On the lighter side, how 'bout that cheer when Bicks mentioned the 'Hawks. |

I don't see it that way. If we had a trade in place for Kruger for whatever and Stan pulled out at the last minute, that's not good. |

There ya go. We'll see if this happens and why CAR is looking to add another D (maybe another deal in place).

From CHI, VGK claim Trevor van Riemsdyk, defenceman. Much speculation that TVR may be flipped tomorrow to CAR. |

I think they HAD to take 9 d-men (rules). Didn't have a choice.
They do have their options, though.
Looking to see what Stan does. |

I would have unprotected Kruger and
Seabrook.
Knowing that nobody in their right mind would take the Seabrook contract and therefore would take Kruger off our hands and TVR would still be a Hawk.
