I get that.

Hard to see them sending him to a division rival.

Yeah I agree a guy can dream. I think he's the best goalie of the lot. Talbot Jones level talent.

My 3:

Pickard
Raanta
Mrazek

I wonder if Hextall tabbing pickard for team Canada could mean anything moving forward?

Could you swing something where you get Pickard from Vegas and they take MacDonald and 2 rounder and 4th rounder?

Too much? Not enough?

So I am really hoping Ek is wrong and Fleury is not headed our way. Watching him implode leaves me concerned even though this playoff he was better.

Last I saw was that Fleury is staying in Vegas, that he will be the face of the Vegas franchise.

I a m hoping for one of these 3: Pickard, Raanta or Mrazek

Pfft, only according to some podcaster named Bob.

Not enough. That's basically Pickard for taking on AMac's salary for a 2nd.

He also chose Johnson who was the original starter.

I don't see him why Vegas would want to add MacDonald to that deal. A 2nd rounder for young goalie has been the standard the past few seasons.

Id trust Elliotte Friedman -- he states in his 30 thoughts column that Fluery is going to Vegas and staying there

Guess I was just trying to be hopeful that MacDonald could be taken.

If hexy does bring in a veteran like bill talked about we could still see MacDonald gone by season end. It's actually a situation I'm not worried about. Goalie is priority 1.

Elliott Freidman reporting Flyers may have interest in Bernier... No thanks!!
Hoping Hextall has something up his sleeve for either Mason or a much better choice than Bernier

With what McPhee said about wanting youth forward and vet defenders I actually think MacDonald could be a good add for Vegas.

I really, really, really don't see that happening. I don't think they'll need to reach the floor, and I don't think they want his contract/term for what he brings. Not impossible, but I highly doubt it.

So Marian Hossa at age 38 has an allergy that could quite possibly end his career putting him on LTIR and tbe Hawks avoiding recapture penalties. Nothing to see here, move along. Thank goodness, this allergy didn't cut his career short.

Latest word was he waived to go to Vegas and only Vegas. So he's not going anywhere else. McPhee is doing a Defense grab and trade per his presser yesterday.
- dragonoffrost

According to him he waived to help the Pens - not that he wants/wanted to go to Vegas.

4 year cramp

Edit: His condition is real. The issue is that the condition has suddenly made him "medically unable to play" right when his contract takes a dive off of a cliff.

See i don't think 3 years at 5million is that bad for an expansion team. Because they will have some short term deals so he gives 3 years of cost certainty for a top 4 guy.

I know not probable but I really don't see it that terrible.

This hossa allergy thing makes no sense. If he was allergic he wouldn't need "treatment". And if he was allergic, what about the other 17 seasons he's been using his equipment

Why does Hossa wash his equipment in Tide?
