Sami Vatanen, Josh Manson, Jason Demers, Brayden McNabb, Matt Dumba, Calvin de Haan, and Nate Schmidt
I would definitely give up our first to add some of these guys, and in the case of bolded, more than a first. Manson would be my top target. |

The deal for Vatanen and Manson to be protected is going to be nuts.... |

Both Manson and McNabb are big guys.
Can't claim I've ever really noticed either. Good skaters?

When things went sideways for Mrazek this season, there was concern internally about his response. Rather than digging in and trying to work his way out of it, Mrazek, according to multiple sources, soured and placed the blame elsewhere.
Contrasted against Howard, whose work ethic picked up when his play went south in previous seasons, it presented a tough decision for an organization with an embedded belief in culture and work ethic for its best players |

I tweeted a couple months ago that Vegas was going to stockpile D men as trade chips; seemed pretty obvious. What I didn't expect was for Vats or Manson to be available. Fun fact: my buddy grew up playing with Manson - my buddy wasn't very bright so take what he says with a grain of salt but he said Manson was one of those guys that was always average until his later years and he just took off. There will be huge bidding war for the Vegas D men. I can already hear Darren Dreger now "and it appears the asking price will be a 1st, a blue chip prospect, as well as an NHL ready player" |

Have a feeling old George is going to lay a fat goose egg on this draft and tank the Knights first year trying to get too clever with making trades/ draft picks. Kind of a circus. Won't be surprised if next year around this time he gives an interview saying he took the wrong approach to expansion, "learning curve".
Also hope GMJR does not go after Duchene and certainly not worth Sprong who fits the Pens system perfectly, and a first. Let alone his ridiculous cap hit, and he is due for a new contract soon. Hope GMJR does not turn this into a Alexander Semin deal. Especially considering all the resigning that needs to be done. Up for Maata and 1st for a top 4 defense, Trouba/Barrie etc. |

McNabb is not. He can hit, and he's not terrible in his own end, but he is not a great skater or puck mover. |

The thing with mcNabb was, He would try to make these big hits, he would connect but then leave his d-partner out to dry for a 2-1.
Put himself out of position a lot going for the hit. |

That is a cute narrative.

He had a rough season no doubt but the idea he had a poor work ethic and didn't try to dig himself out of the rough start is an extremely lazy narrative.

i am expecting to be underwhelmed. I mean there will certainly be moves and some interesting trades but really not expecting anything earth shattering. |

He's improved a little in that regard since he got to LA, but if Vegas took him I'm ok with that. |

So a third to make them pick Fleury or something more do you think? I'm hoping it's Hags and this years first for a guy like Dumba. |

Picks in tonight... revealed tomorrow... wonder if they will get leaked before then? I'm already pretty damn curious. |

I'm jealous as hell. My friend who does not care about hockey much is in Vegas for work and will probably go to the awards show just because he's bored and has nothing to do. He just hopes to take a pic with Sid to piss me off or meet and maybe stalk Sofia Vergara. haha |

I thought LV had to submit their complete picks by 10:00 AM tomorrow. Then, I think they will get leaked to some degree. |

You cannot argue with someone (Boyd is Steamer), that cannot be in his mind incorrect.
Shots on goal is a garbage stat & forwards are useless after 28. Both those statements are ridiculous, & said by that individual. Unless you want to troll the troll, then any information you offer will be ignored & twisted so a question will be answered by another question - straw man arguement a plenty.
Don't waste your time trying to educate ignorant people that don't want to learn anything. Troll them all you want though. |

Could have read wrong, but thought their list was due tonight but won't be revealed until the awards show... either way, won't be revealed until the show |

It looks like Toronto may have a deal with LV:
Could Lupul be going to LV? Either Loops believes he's healthy enough to play or Leafs general manager Lou Lamoriello has a deal with Vegas GM George McPhee to take Lupul and stay away from someone like Kerby Rychel or Brendan Leipsic. The Leafs would need to sweeten the deal for the Knights to take Lupul's $5.25 million deal off their hands. But that contract would certainly help them reach the cap floor of $55.4 million |
