Jacob Josefson. He started on the top line for the Stadium Game and I recall him being a + player for that game.

Also he played on the top line for DJurgardens IF Stockholm in 09-10.

I definitely agree the reasoning behind the changes is silly. Who cares about the Rockies or Scouts or...Newark Bulldogs?

I just don't think the jersey looks that bad or different.

It looked more different from the other teams, but now there's this big homogenization going on... that's precisely the problem. It's just neutrality. And you're right... the odes are absolutely nonsensical. I don't see the Avs paying tribute to the Rockies with ugly traffic cop stripes, why are the Devils?

I get the feeling they are pushing them more towards their sweatshirt brands because of marketing reasons (we have seen that we are statistically more likely to...) so that means it's what sells rather than what looks good... what people aren't afraid to wear in public, I suppose.

Those old depictions of the future where everyone wore the same uniform, I mean... that's about accurate. The only thing that'll differentiate teams in the future is colour... all jersey designs will look the same (most of them already do, just with a stripe here or not one there) and so you get two or three colours to jump into the stream, but they can't be anything that's bold like neon or turquoise or purple or something like that... it's always navy or maroon or red or grass green or what not...
