Hence why we couldn't acquire Neal and Theo From Vegas

I wonder what Alex Tuch would cost from Vegas?

Honestly I don't have interest in Neal anyway unless we end up trading Kane and getting rid of Moulson. Too much cap space for a soon to be 30 year old

because if he tanks after signing the contract like he did with his last big deal it'll be easier to move him.

I draw the salary line at 5.75 cause i dont think he should make the same amount as okposo

- Sabresfan-365

As long as Eichel is here he won't tank. There is a reason he scored nothing until Jack came back and then almost had 30 goals the rest of the season. Kane is exactly the kind of player you stick on a wing with #15. He's tough too, so you get the added bonus of having a guy to protect him.

Ostrander wants to trade Kane for Hamonic....

I think I just died inside.... Hamonic... that's just f'n gross. That's kissing your sister and bragging about it.

- JVince11

It's actually probably fair given where Kane's value is right now

They both like the puck on their stick. I like eichel away from him

Kane likes to shoot a lot. I get it. But Eichel is great at putting passes in a place where his wingers have a high probability of getting a quality chance. I also noticed Kane looking to setup plays more at the end of the season. At the very least Kane needs more time on the PP with #15. He scored almost all his goals 5 on 5 last year. He probably has another 5-7 goals if he gets more time.

you would be hung up on by George McPhee.

Theodore + Neal

would cost

Reinhart + Bailey + Moulson + both of our 2nds if not more than that

- Acup2buff

I Doubt it. LV is getting very few high end forwards in the draft and even less that are centers. Reinhart could step in a possibly be there #1 center. They will draft D by the boatload

I think he's just playing for a contract and once he's paid we'll get the 23 goal 65 games Kane back

I know. I wish they were doing the roster unveil separate from the NHL awards because I'd like to go, but I can't sit through an awards ceremony of any kind.

I really don't think so. His effort level has never been in question. The guy plays like his hair is on fire every shift. He just needs an Eichel to feed him slick passes. He has a good wrist shot and when he has time and space he puts pucks in the net.

my buddy wanted to overnight fly for the awards. I told him to save his money and go to the first home game.

Unfortunately, accepting passes is one of his weakest attribute. He can fire one timers, but he sucks at cradling passes

Yeah, I believe it's October 10th. I will probably go to that and the Sabres game when they come into town at a minimum.

You can see the change in energy when you realize you are no longer playing for playoffs but instead for the end.

Eichel
ROR
Kane
Okposo
Sam

That is the order of importance of our forwards IMO. You don't trade your leading goal scorer for a tweeter 1st/2nd line pairing. We have a ton coming off the books so if we can use that to keep our top 6 in contact I'm happy

Why is Kane ahead of the guy who had 3 incredibly productive years in a row before being incredibly productive here, until injury?
