I'm sure he was, he doesn't get enough credit but before just moving him I want to see him in another system. In Ennis's case, i'm tired of seeing him.

As soon as Botterill was brought in he said they like the fact that there's a bunch of guys on the team that are versatile enough to play more than 1 position. It was an answer in reference to Reinhart and he also brought up Girgensons when he answered. He said he loves the flexibility it gives a team.

Lots of rumors suggest the Sabres want a middle 6 center. This tells me that Bots likes Sam on the wing, at least for the time being.

There's another player on the Sabres that I have yet to see anyone mention that I can see going. Surprised all of you arm chair GM's haven't brought him up yet.
