Ya prices are currently going to be high on certain players for sure but maybe torontos scouting department sees a player who could project to be a number 2 dman or a least top 4?And I still believe that there will be a trade with multiple contracts going the other way

The Doan stuff is odd.. the way he was let go was pretty poopty. But MSM is all about how classy he is and such the greatest leader in the history if leadering

He had some really dirty plays, wouldnt call him a good ol boy, and his teams almost never made the playoffs ..55 total playoff games in 22 years .. Great Leadershipping.

Presumably the price is a 1st round pick and/or prospect, how can somebody like TO leverage this with a 3-way deal?

i.e. TO sends something like Bracco, Nielsen and a 1st to ANA for Vatanen; ANA keeps Nielsen and sends Bracco and a 1st to VGK to keep them from taking Vatanen.

Feels like more than what we'd pay for Vatanen straight up, does it not?

Doan milked that team for a long time! Did you see his home/ranch in the desert, on HNIC, he's living in paradise (I went to school there franking amazing! ) and made a hell of a lot of money! They should of traded him 4 years ago at least imo
