Last year. You can check out EBAY, prices from about $3.00 to $3000 for Matthews rookie card, depending on which one. Odds of opening a pack with a Matthews card is supposedly about one in 72000 for upper deck.

Would be happy with any of those picks. Button had leafs taking vesalainen in the tsn mock draft. Might be an interesting pick. Big skilled LW to play top line with Matthews and Willy.

Edit: If Suzuki plays centre he might be a good partner for marner on the second line. Supposed to be smart with a good shot. Can't imagine he'll be available at 17 though.

If this was the way it played out, it would be tough to pass on Suzuki for sure, but Liljegren might be the steal of the draft. Great skater, had injury issues this year, otherwise top five for sure.

Wonder what would happen if a team say Anaheim had a deal in place for Vegas not to take say Manson and exposed him then another team came by and gave a much better offer for them to take him.

Lou dealing with Vegas (if true) better be him prying a defender they pick up. If he pays anything to direct an expansion pick I have no faith in management moving forward.

As much as I'd rather Rychel/Leipsic protected over Martin. Losing any of the 3 is not a big deal.

Islanders fans aren't responding well to the possibility of Tavares leaving Long Island next summer.

I like Hamonic, but a prospective top 4 of Rielly, Zaitsev, Gardiner and Hamonic worries me - you've got three guys who are pretty poopty at suppressing shots, (plus Gardiner!)... it'd be entertaining as hell, but we'd probably be getting buried for all of the time that the puck in in our zone.
