Tanbir just tweeted he is going to lose it if Sbisa is picked up by the VGK

Nice to see him aiming high

i like Luca.
i'd be quietly pleased if Vegas takes any of Gaunce, Megna or Dorsett.

If we lose Sbisa, we are even less likely to move Tanev i suspect.

Do you guys honestly think this will be the Sedins last season? I'm not so sure.

I'm not convinced.
My hope is that it depends on their level of play this year and where the team is at.
If they suck and the team sucks, i hope they hang em up.
If they bounce back, i wouldn't be surprised to see them sign 1 year deals.

Sbisa should have no effect on Tanev. There's plenty of bottom pairing dmen available as UFA's every summer...hell some even get waived or traded for scraps during training camps if they're on teams with deep bluelines.

I don't see a lot of 27 year old, 6'2, 210 lbs Dmen that can skate and hit being available.
I could be wrong.

Will they sign for league minimum and without NTC

I'm kind of leaning Pettersson (trade down maybe?), Glass then Vilardi.

yes?

And publicly state that they would be interested in playing for different teams, just for fun.

Yup..agreed. I could see them as 3rd liners. Cut ice time and they could be more effective.

Talking more with hockey people tonight: Avs are praying Makar is available at No. 4

Sean Shapiro @seanshapiro
Of the centers I like Vilardi. But I like Heiskanen or Makar and seems like Stars are leaning that way as well

Looks like there's a chance that both Glass and Vilardi will be there at 5....seems like a slim chance that both are gone by then.

- Nucker101

I love that Makar is rising so high, another team can take the risk on him (I've been hearing Makar could have the most skill of any player in the draft), JB needs to take Villardi.....then promptly set him up with Bo Horvats skating coach

People hate Sbisa here, you won't see a lot of love for him. I think Vegas will take Sbisa, he's nothing special, but he's a fairly solid roster player.

Bring back the Sedins

Will suffer if Vegas takes Sbisa

Has anyone in here looked at the standing in the last three years?

I agree.
Never understood the hate myself, thought he played well last year and really reduced the glaring mistakes that seemed to cause so much panic the earlier year.
I like him, hope we keep him.

I think they have enough class that they would sign for 1M but mine more to them to retire as Canucks.

For sure I hope Sbisa stays here. We need dmen. Plus he is an asset at the TDL. Take anyone else.

How about letting younger faster bigger stronger players taking those spots instead of two old men that have to hold hands? Why do you have to bring back both?Daniel did d1ck all last year

The very first thing I think of when I have a lot of cap space is to sign two old timers.

People look at Sbisa's salary first and foremost. Don't think he would get to many complaints if he were in the $1.5M range.

If he was getting 1.5 m, people would be suggesting we re-sign him for 3.5m.
people are funny.
