Let's just hope. Makita is a great mod for us, but he is way too lenient on the Toronto trolls. We do 1% of what they do and we get a week ban.

Dozer is the TO mod, he is more than happy to come collect his troll and straighten it out

the odd thing about that logo is that these days in the young crowd the men all wear winter hats in the summer and have beards as the IN style

Benning's list (in my opinion):

Nico
Makar
Patrick
Glass
Petersson
Vilardi
Heiskaenen
Mittlestad

- CanuckDon

I'm more interested in Vantel's list tbh...him and Benning seem to like the same players

Makar is intriguing but wouldn't the safe pick be a centre?

summer starts after the draft.

as much as I like glass the chance to draft Makar (if presented) supersedes glass. We can sign or trade for a decent center or stop gap center. What Makar brings in more valuable than what glass brings. Drafting both players is the perfect solution for our team

Makar could make an impact like Karlsson or Doughty.

Glass could be a #1 or #2 C

Time will tell if it is a good pick. If they both turnout, maybe hindsight will show there wasn't a wrong pick.

I still shouldn't be surprised if JB picks a different player.

This might be the highest rated awards ceremonies, will pvr and ffwd through the awards to the VGK announcements.

Vegas getting both Smith and March from the Panthers is a nice little haul..wonder what the deal was there.

McPhee getting a poop load of praise but I'm not buying it. He had a lot of leverage over 5-6 teams that had to expose quality players or teams that desperately need to clear cap space(Chicago). He either made fair deals or let a couple of them off the hook easy...not sure how that makes him such a great GM tbh.

And some of his rooomered expansion picks(not involving trades) are just flat out bad.

I still can't believe Mcphee has a job I agree with you. he had plenty of leverage. Not everyday you approach 30 transactions from a position of strength

The amount of praise he's getting is hilarious to me.

That's why he's taking Neal and asking for a poop load from them to protect Neal...he's so salty

I think praise is worthy for the juggling and coordination required to pull off some of the stuff he's done. He also has a short window to execute.

But youre definitely right, he has the upper hand on all teams. He can balk at any offer that comes his way and take the best available unprotected. He also is gifted the opportunity to raise stakes for teams trying to protect additional players by parlaying them against competitors also wanted Player X. Swindling these deals isnt executive of the year worthy
