Can't wait for another 20 pages of Benning Bashing after the last two days of threads.

It's draft week after all. Seems the bar is JB fails if he doesn't pick up more top picks. Plus given the varied numerous non consensus on picks for the draft it's being set up for a summer long Benning Bashing Bonanza.

Inevitable given WD was fired the target falls on JB. Consensus that team and players suck adds to it. Why now it all turns on the man in charge.

But I'm also looking forward to the verbage when several Canuck prospects earn spots on the team this season.

I really kinda hope the Canucks can take Rasmussen.
Either with the 5th or an acquired pick.

6'6", Big Center. Can score goals and goes to the net and hes a hometown boy, Born in Vancouver. Seems like a good combination to me.

I just want Benning to draft Rasmussen or Tippet so we can clean out the bandwagon fans. Start fresh with a new GM and a new solidified fanbase

Not too many here like him. I am one of the few that does, just not at 5. I have him at #11. Could be a player that jumps right into the line up. He looked like a beast in the weight room on a few of the interview/profiles I have seen on him.

It's not possible. Rasmussen is about as far from a PP QB or playmaking center as any other player in the draft

Tippett in this draft class is the same, people keep calling him a powerforward but he's really not that big in terms of height.

So Vegas is reportedly stocking up on 1st round picks.

If they are looking to move up, i suppose it's not crazy to suggest that they might approach Vancouver about moving up to the 5th OA.

What would it take to move down 1 spot to 6th, assuming 2 players we liked are on the board at 5 still?

JB gets his man (after the top 2 are gone), plus another 2 prospects to stock the cupboards. If it's a grade A prospect i would be all over that, but even with a B prospect i think that's fair value.
