Obviously the rumor had nothing concrete behind it, but there have been sooo many stories of Tallon's disappointment in Gallant's Firing and Gudbranson's trade, it wouldn't surprise me if the inquired about him. I don't think he fetches 10OA at all, or that the return would be significant, it just wouldn't surprise me if Tallon called Benning on him is all.

They're protecting Ekbald, Yandle, Petrovic, Pysyk - you'd have to think LV are taking Marchessault so that means they get Demers back plus they got Matheson, McCoshen

hard to imagine they would keep the same D as last year and not do a bit of a shakeup with how they ended up in the standings/missing playoffs though.

He will be doing what is best for the team . He should have given no definite yeses before this draft only a firm we will see.
