Hey I want what you want, I'm just being realistic. - LeftCoaster
If the Sedins have another underwhelming year, I think it's possible that they go play a year in Sweden or hang em up.
The 14M freed up doesn't excite me it comes to free agency as much as it does the potential for bending over teams in cap hell. Teams got bailed out by compliance buyouts a few years ago, but now the bad contracts are piling up again...teams with cap space will be in prime position to trade rape
That's going to help the team much more then mentorship...isn't that why Sutter/Gudbranson are here for and getting overpaid for? Can always sign a short-term stopgap UFA forward vet if needed. |

You're not being realistic, Sedins will slow down the developement and confidence of a lot of young players. They will again get the lions share of the PPand the icing faceoffs in the offensive zone . They will take up money and roster spots of two potential younger faster UFAs while they provide us a garbage slow flaccid team.
This is Dan Hamhuis all over again.
I have never seen a fan base so enamored with a crap teams roster iin my life
Did you see the big concern for the last two months on here. people panicing about losing Sbisa |

I'm being realistic in the sense that this is what Benning and Linden will probably do. Not what I want, but probably what they want. |

Well if Benning is back along with the Sedins in 2018 there will be no problem finding tickets to a game . The big question will be do you want to go spend 20 dollars to see a terrible product. |

The only talk of panic I've ever seen is from some turd from twitter that you posted.
Don't get the Sedin debate. They aren't extended. Any talk of the future for them won't be entertained until next off season by the Canucks. Who knows who will be around by then. Plus Sedins won't get traded this season either for all the reasons we know. So buckle up and enjoy seeing the new prospects worked in during the season and hope the Sedins add some buffer for their development. |

I think he is being realistic, they are under contract and it doesn't matter how much you don't like it, they will play this coming year.
They are not holding anyone's development back, and there is a new coach that is responsible to set the PP and line match ups.
Regardless of the hyperbole the Sedins are not dictating the the structure, who plays, who is traded, who is drafted, who gets ostracized.
And please point out the people that are having concerns over Sbisa, there were posts here where some stated they liked his play last year, but in the next breath they also stated that if he is chosen by LV, so be it.
This is a really bad team, and everyone here pretty much agrees on that, I have been saying they are 3 and 4 lines talent with 3-8 Dmen, where are you getting enamored. |

I heard Vegas has a deal with the Canucks. Vegas sends their 3rd round pick so they don't have to take anyone. |

No, I'm a professional engineer not a writer. Carol is the best on the block and I thoroughly enjoy her articles on the Canucks. I enjoy everyone's company and Makita is a good man and a good ref. Thus I'll be checking in. I'm a west coast kid, the Canucks chose me, I didn't choose them. |
