I dont think thats 100% the reason. The piping down the chest was a Reebok template design that we will no longer see on the jerseys. Its the reason the Wings moved their C's and A's to the other side of the chest, it wouldnt work with the template stitching

Come on, man. If you're going to try to play devil's advocate for the sake of standing up for a fellow Canucks fan at least try to do a believable job.

There are literally DOZENS of more talented and more valuable D-men than Tanev... D-O-Z-E-N-S!! A D who has pretty much missed a full season with his injuries over the past four seasons. Availability however, is a different thing all together. That said, can you honestly sit there and agree that Tanev alone is worth the 3OA + an "A" prospect?
