This was going to be a smart-ass question, but now I'm not so sure.
Here goes:

So we're going to have Doan, Thornton and Marleau?? Their combined age is pushing Shea Weber territory. |

No - nice guy sure, good player fine, good dressing room guy certainly, a pylon - probably. Can't possibly add to team speed so pass. - winsix
I wouldn't mind it...at worst would be a good 4th line winger. Played on a horrible team last year can't forget that.
Good guy to have in the room.
But they would have to move a winger for him to fit anywhere |

Shea Weber is older than the popes. All of them.
True story. |

I read an analytics blurb one day that actually said this....quote, "Mikhail Grabovski is one of the best Toronto forwards of the last 25 years." A prime example of someone who watches every game on spreadsheet instead of a television screen. |

Fear not. I've been told by reliable sources that it's still early and they will learn how to hit very shortly. |

It's all about Home Runs man. Nothing else. That's how successful teams are built. |

It was still early back in May...when fools were panicking.
They have until July to get on track. |

The Jays strength this yeas has been inconsistent hitting combined with inconsistent pitching, and an average, at best, bullpen. |

While I agree with you, was at a game on Saturday, where they were facing a really stinky pitcher and couldnt hit for beans. The night before, Jose Quintana, who was 2 and 8 on that barfbag of a team with an ERA of 5 plus nearly no hit the Jays. Not so early to be squandering chances against these brutal teams.
