Even if there is pressure to move him, they shouldn’t have to sell low.
Good young players should always get a good price. - Tumbleweed
Yup - something along the lines of Wayne Primeau, Marco Sturm, and Brad Stuart
or
Loui Eriksson, Joe Morrow, Riley Smith, and Matt Fraser |

2012 was pretty rough. Tons of players rising and falling. |

Aka, Grigorenko who I thought could be the Leafs #1C over Galchenyuk!?!?!
That's why I don't work for the Leafs. |

Lindholm and Pouliot were ranked like 22nd and 28th. Both go top-10...one for the best...the other...LOL! |

The Wheeler trade helped them win a cup, so I don't hate on that one. Dougie just didn't want to be here so what are you going to do? |

I really wanted to take a particular player in the 2007 draft, but we took Dale Mitchell with the 74th pick, and then the guy I wanted was selected next by Tampa Bay. |

Yeah, a cup cures all. But no cup and that trade is on par with erat for Forsberg.
Hamilton: get more than the NYI got for reinhart?

I wouldn't go that far. He had a 42 point season in 57 games the year after the cup.
And we did get more that NYI got for Reinhart. |

They look like they're going to be good picks, so we'll see. Senyshyn is still a head scratcher because of who was on the board, but Jeremy Lauzon and Forsbacka-Karlsson in the second round look to have been solid choices. |

wheeler is a 70 point player. Not many of those exist.

I disagree
and you can't equate Erat after that trade to Peverley. It wasn't a good trade on the surface, I agree, but it wasn't THAT bad. |
