ok, so I am just gonna go through this again. Even if they got a expansion compliant goalie back in a trade for Raanta...

if they traded Raanta, then the Rangers would definitely lose Grabner, Fast or Lindberg.

So, we'd lose Raanta because we traded him and then Grabner, Fast or Lindberg too.

WHY IS IT BETTER TO LOSE TWO GUYS INSTEAD OF ONE?

Why isn't the best thing that Vegas just takes Raanta and we move on? why is it better we lose two of them? LMFAO

But what would we be getting back in a return? If we could move up in the draft or add a good prospect I don't think it's a bad move, but we have no idea what the offers were. If Lindberg gets taken I think the chances of Stepan getting selected go down significantly. If we could have traded Raanta to Winn let's say for the 13th overall and a 2nd with our 1st going with Raanta, I think that's a move you make and sign a goalie to expose. Someone said last blog that's an overpayment for Raanta but Jan pointed out we got a 2nd and 3rd for Talbot and we all feel EDM won that deal so it might be a fair deal. Who knows though.

Yeah, this is the time of year when I really start to get jealous of my wife. Not resentful, because she works harder than about any other teacher I've ever known and she deserves the break. But, definitely jealous! Once the day comes that I'm the only one that has to get up in the morning it's hard not to have those feelings.
Fortunately, every year she takes our daughter away to our friend's cottage for the 1st week of July and I get a sort of summer vacation, too!

I saw this shirt on the boardwalk that has all Ranger's players names, past and present, in the shape of the Logo. I saw Hayes and Kreider on there. I think I need to buy it

You're not crazy. There a ton of ways this could have/will play out. Losing two of those guys isn't attractive but I think some wanted to move them for assets or other players the Rangers could then expose. Like mentioned previously, we are not privileged to any internal information so getting annoyed about all of this before the dust settles is pointless.

Honestly it's pointless to get mad about it because it is not in our control.
