There is a difference between the two. Mcilrath was just a big neanderthal who would love to punch and be punched. Reports on Hague are that he's smart with and without the puck, and he can make good out let passes. Where he struggles is his skating.
- tomburton99

Hague's other offensive strength is his point shot, as depicted by some of his 18 goals & 44 points earned in his 64 OHL games played this past season. However, goals & assists in any minor league can be flawed due in chief to the majority of the goalies ability levels being below that of only average type NHL backups. That's also likely in part why his own team mate in forward, Owen Tippett scored 44 goals of his 75 points in just 59 games played, yet was only listed as #23 overall by Button.
On Craig Button's final early June rankings list of his top 105 likely draftees, the 6'6" & 215 lb. Hague was ranked as #43 overall, but as #11 in his defensemen rankings. But he was listed one spot overall ahead of 6'4", 206 lb., LW Forward, Matthew Strome of Hamilton in that same OHL, who had 34 goals & 62 points in 66 games played. That also shows why numbers in the Minors do not show the entire picture of a potential draftee, making fans have to rely on a Craig Button's or another expert's opinion in part, to at least obtain a better overall view besides their numbers.

Vin is manic, not miserable.

Is tomburton really a Devils fan who only posts as a make believe Rangers fan, so he wouldn't be alone in posting on the Devils site with their other few fans that post on ours as well?

Biron was good for awhile, but really went downhill his last year with the Rangers
- mdw7413

...starting with that closing minutes move and showman's goal scored by Hertl in that blowout win by the Sharks that season.

Yea because Colli was gone before the end of the 98 season & MM was a rookie in 98-99.
- RustyKuntz

And Campbell has had it in for the Rangers ever since, as part of the NHL's offices in various positions.

So they got rid of the blue above the white stripe at the bottom, and less blue on the shoulders. Hmm, not much of a difference. Would have got rid of the baby sh!t yellow though.

if the Rangers ever take a goalie in the first round again I'm gonna have to cut a byatch
- jimbo83

You would have to think that they learned by now (finally & hopefully), after drafting Hank as their 7th pick in 2000 with pick #205 in the 7th Round. Dominic Moore was their 2nd pick that year at #95 overall in Round #3.

It's not terrible, I hope that's just a rendering though and they aren't going with Iron on names/numbers and keep stitched on jerseys.

It's the NHL, I'd bet against it getting it right.

I just hate that color of yellow. It looks like a bunch of Guldens mustard bottles on ice.

I'd bet it's bland and simple because the NHL needs some space for ads. Which would be so NHL.
