He's going to be good. He was a top 5 pick before his head got out of hockey. He's going to be a top 4 defender IMO.

this Vegas thing is literally one of the most intriguing this this league has ever done, it dwarfs anything else the league is doing right now

Over the last decade or so the Rangers have had a high success rate on 1st rounders when we've had them, Staal, Kreider, Miller, Skjei, and Del Zotto, that's 5 out of 8 picks that have played at least one season, Skjei will play a lot more

Really? Gee, thanks. My point is that 1st round talent is a floating measuring stick. Last years first round talent level is reputedly far above what talent will come out of this years 1st round.
So, if you trade the pick to someone who's desperate for it along with some other asset, perhaps you can get a 1st round talent from say 3 years ago.
How is it that all of a sudden drafting someone in the 1st round is a sure thing??

The chance of drafting player in the first round and having said turn into a NHL regular is much better than having the first pick in the 4th round. But it's whatever fam. Today is Jersday.

The salary cap saved him in New York, you saw his reign at the beginning and it was worth being fired after 3 years, I still believe he should have nothing to do with the organization

That was Clarks 1st year with the Rangers and was just a pro scout, wasn't named head amateur scout until 2007

I agree the cap saved him from himself but he has to get some credit for at least adapting. He put winning teams out every year. I understand you hate and are embarrassed by everything the rangers do unless they win cups, but fans like you are just very unfair people. It's like my biggest pet peeve, I hate unfairness. In any walk of life. You just literally will never appreciate the team when times are good, they are always bad no matter what
