speaking of the 'Yotes, they just named Ekmann-Larsson captain, doubtful they'll be trading him

Cut ties completely with Doan.

Agent says he is leaning towards playing another year, Coyotes said they won't be offering him a contract. Kind of awkward.

Wow. I have no recollection of Sittler playing in Phili. That was right about the time I started taking an interest in the league...at about 9 years old.

This is how I stand and I'm surprised more people aren't with me on it, I'm done with just about every player that's been here for the last 5 or 6 years, with the exception of probably Zucc only. All of them. I've been one to give them a pass and say wait til next year year after year. But I can't anymore, MAC step Nash kreider Miller Hayes could all go for something. NOt giving anyone away of course, but I wouldn't shed a tear if pretty much anyone currently wasn't back. I want new blood, new voices, new everything. This team has become very stale for my liking

I gotta say TJ im with you. I would absolutely deal Mcdonagh in the right trade and I think MDW is right that if Skjei keeps progressing its gunna be tough to pay both guys big money to play the left side. i think AV is pretty stupid for not giving Skjei a longer look paired with Mcdonagh on the right side or vice versa.

Your last sentence is very accurate

I'll remember Shane Doan as a leader so amazing that his team won one playoff series for every twenty years that he played hockey.

Was going to post that but got tied up with work. McDonagh played the right side in the olympics on a bigger surface and looked pretty good. There is our right side number 1.

i guess av's defense is that the D was too weak last year to pair the 2 together but I think going forward if they dont sign/trade for someone to play with Mac they gotta try it

Yup. If Skjei is even better this coming season would make sense. If Smith signs somewhere else that is going to be one (frank)ed up right side.

I don't have one of those yet. Sorry to hear about the aggravation.
