It's not all on Holland. Blashill is a horrible head coach. Holland hired him though. He's the one who signed the players to the contracts. As the GM it's HIS team. He blundered by not eating Datsyuks contract and passing on drafting Jacob Chychrun.

Holland has his PR machine going full throttle. His puppet PR trashed Mrazek all last season after the almost arbitration. One thing Holland excels at is justifying each one of his horrible moves.

The fall from glory has been happening for years. Babs drew as much lipstick on the pig as he could. Holland is getting what he deserves right now. He's run out of excuses. If he wants to blame anyone for the Red Wings demise, all he has to do is take a look in the mirror.

Mrazek's Euro snobbery became too overbearing. Just ask Lums, he'll tell you all about that.

That's another story. Holland getting all of the "credit" for winning 4 Cups. His first year as official GM wasn't until after they won in 1997. But he was definitely a part of the success. He's also a big part of the failure now.
