*Prays to every god that has ever existed, even the sun god, Sedins are extended* - Makita
The funny part is, I know you're serious, which makes it all that much more enjoyable for me knowing I annoy the crap outta you lol. |

so tanev to dallas for 3oa to take Makar with
5oa to habs for galchenyuk
Promote Pedan to see regular duty - SMBDragon
so we trade Tanev to move up to 3, then pick Makar (who will probably be available at 5)
then trade potentially Villardi/Glass/Petterson (who are better than Makar) for galchenyuk (a guy that might never be a centre again).
Can I have whatever you're smoking? |

maybe they get signed to contracts without NMCs? 1 million per Swede.
then TRADE |

His first draft was good. Virtanen-McCann-Demko-Tryamkin-Forsling. 5 NHL players in any draft is great. 2 is acceptable. Yes, Virtanen was a bad pick and two of those players are with other teams. Doesn't change the fact that it was a solid draft. - CanuckDon
So he gets passing grade of drafting but fails at building and developing. I would think that is packaged with Drafting |

Well drafting and trading are two different things. But you can grade him however you like I believe I gave Jim a B- in my last ratings |

don't really know how a GM develops a player. I wouldn't;t think JB hits the ice that often with Jake Virtanen
Development is on the coaching staff/ trainers. |

Benning had better get it right this draft because if he goes into his 5th draft next year not having produced a quality NHL player yet, it'd be truly embarrassing for him and ownership. |

Virtanen needs to get 20 goals.... ASAP. He seems to be the measuring stick for JBs drafting skill. I Agree, we got him to draft young talent. |

I think so too, him and Horvat looked really good together.

Who do you think is in charge of ice time for practice , making sure he has proper trainers and facilities, lodging , equipment, dieting and on and on and on |

Boeser, Granlund and Horvat are really the only players I am excited about next year. Tough time to be a fan. Hopefully Dahlen and Goblin spend some time in Utica and shore up their games. |

the coaches?
Gms just sign on the line, and book the hotels. Coaches deal with the players. |

At the end of the day I believe Boeser, Demko and Juolevi will be quality NHL players. Hopefully this year produces another player. But all that is yet unproven. |

I would be ecstatic if he scored 10 goals to be honest. Expectations are low. He needs to make the team first. |

you all really think the GM decides ice time and what Virtanen eats for breakfast?
give me a break. |

It may seem I am extreme but I am not. No hate. I think his time is up.
I am disappointed with his lack of activity with expiring contracts but no F Bombs. |

No I was referring to making Ice Time available for practice facilities not how much he plays in a game
No I think Green handed 40 box of Corn Flakes and 40 liters of milk handing them out to the staff as they boarded the buses and made sure they brought camping gear to sleep in when they went on the road |

yeah so you might say that development (playing time, nutrition, fitness) are handled by the coaches and training staff, not the GMs? All I was getting at. |
