It adds no value to Vegas they would be better off taking Pedan - VANTEL
Depth forward I'm thinking, Chaput just cause he's a centre.
If they take Megna.... I'll cheer. |

Gaunce is a bigger Chaput basically. |

His contract is not back breaking, but you're not understanding McPhee's options. I'll gladly eat crow if I'm wrong here, but from Vegas' perspective it doesn't make much sense to draft him. - Nucker101
Can you eat crow if you're right?

Benning said Vegas will be taking a D. Either he knows they are selecting Sbisa or he is full of sh!t. 50/50 |

I don't think they want anyone. |

Chaput is a more skilled Gaunce basically, and actually plays center (Gaunce played like 5 games as an NHL centre)
Chaput= 8 points last season
Gaunce= 6 CAREER points
I'm so sick of Gaunce, I'd prefer if Vegas took him. |

I bet Vegas would pay a 2nd to not have to select one of our players |

How sad is our team, that we actually improve after an Expansion Draft? |

Whats more sad is that Vegas will probably have a better team than us next year. Tjey will more than likely also have 4 or 5 first round picks this year as well. Mcphee has GMs by the balls right now |

Bettman can't have another one of his bs projects fail. He set vegas up perfectly. |

Because Vegas could have Mrazek, Pickard, Raanta and a couple of great goalie prospects - is it nuts to consider taking Rust over Fleury
I was thinking the same thing too . BTW these are very good guys to follow
Knights could draft Oettinger with their second rd pick. He has been compared to Demko |

No, Rust is pretty decent. has a penchant for big goals |

Our team, despite their output, will be SOO much better when the sedins are gone. Their ouput in all situations does not equal their cap hits |

I know it's hard without knowing the back deals, but do a mock expansion draft and you'll see how many dmen that are better than Sbisa are available and how many that are just as good(but cheaper) are available.
The cap floor argument is silly, why would McPhee take on bad deals for free? He can trade with a team in cap hell and get back a pick/prospect.
Sbisa has barely any value, how often do expensive bottom pairing dmen get traded right before free agency? - Nucker101
Apparently ANh/NYI/CBJ already have deals in place to protect some of their best players that were exposed. |

the sad part is, as I've mentioned a few times, they could be better than the Canucks right off the hop. - LeftCoaster
Who cares, the objective is top end picks, not trying to be better than Vegas or Arizona or whoever...top end picks |

Would any of you guys be willing to give up Demko for the 6th overall? If Makar or Lilljegrin are available at 6 and Vegas wants Demko, I say yes. And shore up our d for the next 5-7 years. Draft a goalie with one of our two second rounders. |
