Point is that many teams in the middle of the standings and a few bounces or a bit of luck can have a big effect on the standings. Just because we were second and a few points up doesn't mean we were that much better. The team needs more peices still to be a real contender imo. Can we get there? Possibly. I personally don't have any confidence in Chias moves though.

If you can't even see that Klefbom took a huge step forward because he had a partner more suited to him that allowed him to play his game more confidently, then you should go co-blog with BSteinley. Every analyst out there has said it, Klefbom himself said it, coaching and management said it. Klefbom and Larsson were great for each other. Good for you for being more knowledgeable than everyone else that watches hockey in the world and even the player himself
