Kind of a change in thinking but with montreal wanting to get defense and looking to move Galchenyuk, would you be ok moving Guads to Montreal for Galchenyuk and maybe a 2nd rounder?

Would you take a lesser pick if they took Read?

Something like:

To Philly: Galchenyuk+ 2nd rounder/2rd rounder
To Montreal: Gudas, possibly Read

You still have Macdonald so you still have a vet to play some top 4 minutes.

Keeping MacDonald is fine for now. His buyout isn't too bad if they want to go that route next year or the year after. I just wish they'd play him on the third pair. Gudas is far more equipped to handle top pair duties with Provorov.

If Montreal does this Bergevin needs to be fired immediately. a 30 goal scorer and a 2nd rounder for Gudas? What are you on?

As I've said, I'm trying to remain positive about the goaltending but am actually kinda horrified at what the Flyers will have next season

I'm obviously waiting to see how the offseason shakes out but if that is what we have come game 1 of the season, yikes. The organization has made a huge mistake and someone should be held accountable or at the very least there needs to be reflection as to how this happened and why Mason was mishandled.

It's so early, I really am trying not to panic -- it's June. Long way to go, and there are options that can be pursued that might be feasible
