We r best to look at developing our roster for deeper balanced scoring.
Keep on track with drafting & find more scoring from the D & a PP QB.

my worry is that he'll spend all of it trying.

shouldn't be measured in just points, but theoretically, if the Sedins were gone, you could easily add 3 players , who aren't above 35, which could easily contribute more than what the Sedins have brought last year, and presumably what they will contribute this year with 14 million.

Wishful thinking, free agency is a two-way street. How many players scored 50 points and are available in free agency this year, not to mention that would want to come to a bottom five team.

I don't see anyone complaining that we should've traded OJ. I think we all know we need to hang on to him. Considering they moved him for someone they didn't have to protect in expansion we probably couldn't have gotten Drouin for Tanev.

Although Tanev is better than Sergachev, TBL wanted a young prospect that they did not have to expose to Vegas.

I would not do OJ and a 2nd for Drouin at this point in time.
Mtl is in a different place with Weber and Price needing to win now.
