I have a feeling we're not getting the 3OA. If Tanev does move I think we get an NHL ready prospect and mid 1st. Perhaps a roster player too to help the other teams cap.

Then take either Miro or Makar at 5OA and maybe try to use the mid 1st and 33rd to move up to take EP?

In a perfect world we add the 3OA and take 2 of Makar-Glass-Vilardi-Miro.

Either way I can't wait for this draft.

Nobody but Canuck fans and NHL GM's/Coaches/Players respect Tanev because:

1 - Doesn't score
2 - Isn't flashy
3 - Injury prone as of late

So, I don't blame other posters for their opinions. Fortunately for the Canucks, other teams posters aren't making the trades. The other GM's are.

I think the problem is Buffalo fans see Kane as a sure-thing 1st line winger, whereas probably every other team in the league sees him as 2nd line

I equate him to Mason Raymond... a one dimensional 3rd line Winger that needs a really good centre to make up for his bad defensive play.

Baertschi is a better LW option, at least he can play defence.

We could make a deal with Vegas first. Trade a 4th or 3rd to ensure they select Sbisa. Then trade for Brodin or Dumba.
