Says who, Drouin hasn't proven anything yet. He's a yr older then Bo with similar stats.
- Kaynine

Their birthdays are about 6 days apart. They are the same age.

1: Patrick
3: Lilgran/makar/ heiskenin in that order, spelling of course ...
33: trd
55: trd
64: bust
95:junk

5ov plus 33 plus 55 plus granlund for 1ov
Tanev for 3ov plus Niemi

Come at me bro! Everyone outside of the first 20 or so in the first round will be junk and busy so trade them all for 2018 picks if possible

Ok...you're wacked, that's just bloody insane

That is dumb. Drouin was dumb. Look at Toffoli Pearson. Bo has had one decent year. he is a 4.5 value right now. Glass will probably be better

He's the heir apparent on this team, future captain.
He's got the team by the short and curly's.

you could got shorter term like pearson and get around the same deal i'd bet.
4 years/4.5m

or you could go longer term and buy some UFA years.
if you do that, yoou're betting on him improving with a long-term contract.
you wager that his work ethic and leadership intangibles push him.

I would go short term. After 3 years you find out he is a star then pay him his worth. If he is just a good player then you saved yourself from bad contracts. He dried up for the last month.

3 year deal 4.5 per

LA didn't really have a choice with Pearson and Taffoli. They have cap issues and needed the shorter term/dollars. They have contracts that have handcuffed them.

Yeah but these Gm's seem like idiots.

Jim's Gudbransen signing was really smart imo.

Not really the issue is it? They could have dug deeper . They wanted to be there and took less.

Bo can't go anywhere.

suggesting giving him 5.5 is just like RNH and Eberle's contract. When they signed them it looked like a bargain and 3 years later they can't give them away.

Being the best of a bad bunch does not make you great

I would take Sergachev over Drouin all day long. Proven or not. The Russians character and skill win it for me every time.
- thundachunk

For sure. Sergachev projects to be another McDonough while Drouin projects to be yet another crybaby in the Habs lineup…big win for TBay IMO.

I think Horvat will be a better Kesler in his prime. But less of a pest.
- Retinalz

Horvat is projecting to be better than Kesler in all aspects except maybe face-offs.
