Would the Avs really get rid of Both Landy and Duchene? I understand they want a shake up, but that seems like blowing the whole thing up.

Duchene is gone. I'm sad but it's time to move on. Barrie is a possibility, but I'm okay with waiting on that deal.i would want to see how the duchene dman for a in before moving him. Landy bought himself another year. If he was truly ailing from a injury, i would like to see him healthy for a full year in Bednar system. But I won't be shocked if his production continues to dip, that he is moved by 2018 draft. Then his NTC kicks in.

Why would the Avs trade for a 27 year old RW with two years left on his deal when they are about to ship out a 26 yr old C with two years left on his deal. The age thing is my biggest concern. Unless the AVs are getting a serious prospect (Jesse P), or a good pick back along with Eberle, or including 34 in the deal, how is his good for them?

Bc I don't think its true straight up? The only way I see having any legs to it if Nurse is involved. Based on the Islanders rumours and names and now with Oilers

BSN guys were saying that Avs aren't trying to move Barrie at all, its just the canadian media, especially the edmonton guys who are just pumping that story line thinking that they can get Barrie again.

based on all that I would be shocked to see 1...Barrie moved, and 2...eberle fetching a big return (have no idea why he has such perceived low value)

THats true I didn't know his contract was expiring. He'll be a decent trade chip for a contender. Adds some decent scoring depth. Not like Girgs was a huge priority to protect but I wouldn't be surprised if Vegas snags him. He fits the age/potential molds I believe they are after. I think Picks will be fine as well. Definitely happy to see them protect Andrigetto and Nieto

I think Grigs was left unprotected to be a temptation for Vegas....take Grigs but leave Picks and Barbs alone.

Or they are done with Grigs so they didn't care if he was selected or not. Either way its pretty much the same list that everyone thought it would be.
